Newcastle and Everton have named their starting squads for their meeting at St James’ Park in the final round of Premier League fixtures in Week 9.
These teams last met four days ago, when the Toffees won 3-1 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
That result ended Everton’s two-game losing streak, which saw them suffer 2-0 defeats at home to Chelsea and away to Arsenal in the Premier League.
Newcastle won their last top-flight game 2-0 at Crystal Palace last Sunday and started a point above their opponents, with seventh place the winners’ reward.
