The win took Dasujev to 10-0 as a pro and marked only the second time he had seen the second round. UFC CEO Dana White signed both fighters after the bout, praising Dasuyev while also praising Ortega’s performance.

7th week. White had nothing but praise for Dasuyev and even offered Ortega a contract.
In a post-fight interview, Dasuyev expressed his joy at earning a UFC contract.
“This is a dream that is coming true,” said Dasujev. “I’m very grateful for that. I think it’s every MMA fighter’s dream. I’m happy.”
Furthermore, shortly after the fight, he revealed that he had jet lag and would have performed better and found the finish if he felt 100%.
“If I didn’t have jet lag and stuff, I would knock him out,” Dasujev said. Laura Sanko. “I’m sure of it. Honestly, I hate the guy.”
