Manchester United have been hit by a fresh injury concern after Patrick Dorgu was sent off during Denmark’s Nations League game against Wales.
The left-back went down unchallenged less than 30 minutes into the game at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium and was replaced by Mohamed Deramy.
Dorgu, who has featured in all five of Man Utd’s Premier League games this season, is the latest injury concern for the Red Devils after the captain. Bruno Fernandes was also ruled out of Portugal’s game against Norway.
It didn’t appear to be a serious injury for the 21-year-old, but going down with no other players around him will worry Michael Carrick.
Dorgu played just six minutes for United last time out but scored the goal that secured a 1-1 draw at Fulham.
Premier League stars hit with injuries
Dorgu is the latest in a string of Premier League stars to suffer injuries during the international break, with Liverpool also hit by problems for Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo.
Isak has pulled out of the Sweden squad to return to his club, with the Reds hoping to be fit to return for their big clash with Manchester City in the Premier League next month.
Gakpo was also sent off just 17 minutes into the Netherlands’ Nations League match against Serbia.
