The Networks officially signed and then requested a release from protection Isaiah Wong and Dwight Murray Jraccording to Brian Lewis of The New York Post (Link to Twitter).
Both players appear to be suiting up for the Long Island Nets this fall, according to the Brooklyn G League affiliate steam individual trades to get your rights back earlier this month. Signature Appendix 10 contracts with the Nets guaranteeing that Wong and Murray will receive up to $91,000 in bonuses on top of their G League base salaries if they spend at least 60 days on Long Island.

The 55th pick in the 2023 NBA draft, Wong played 21 regular-season games for Indiana and Charlotte from 2023-25 before heading overseas last season to play for Gran Canaria in Spain. The 6’4″ guard averaged 14.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 22.6 minutes per game over 34 games in the Spanish Championship (Liga ACB) during the 2025/26 season.
Murray, meanwhile, has played mostly in the G League since leaving the Raiders in 2023. The 26-year-old played 47 games for the College Park Skyhawks last season and averaged 8.7 points, 5.0 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game on .437/.323/.818 shooting.
Since Wong and Murray were waived shortly after signing, the transactions do not affect Brooklyn’s current roster situation. The Nets have 18 players under contract, including 15 on standard guaranteed deals.
