The Networks signed and subsequently cancelled DJ Rodman and Aaron Scott on monday tweets Brian Lewis of The New York Post. Brooklyn later signed Nick Pringleaccording to Lewis (Link to Twitter).
Pringle’s 10 contract with the Nets was the first reported last month. It’s entirely possible – perhaps even likely – that it could be canceled in the near future.
A 6-foot-9 forward, Pringle finished his six-year college career at Arkansas last season, starting 33 of 35 games and averaging 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per contest. After going undrafted in June, he played three Summer League games for the Celtics the following month, scoring five points and adding 10 rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes.
Rodman, a 2024 undrafted prospect out of USC, is a 6-foot-6 wing who spent the last two years in the G League. He joined the Greensboro Swarm — Charlotte’s affiliate — last season, averaging 7.2 ppg and 3.2 ppg on .505/.465/.792 shooting in 39 games. (17.2 points per gallon). The 25-year-old is the son of a Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman.
Scott, a 6-foot-7 forward, went undrafted in 2025 after three seasons in college at North Texas and one at St. John’s. The 23-year-old played for Boston’s NBAGL affiliate in Maine last season, averaging 6.7 ppg, 3.4 ppg and 1.2 ppg on .458/.357/.560 shooting in 40 games (18.1 ppg). The low free throw percentage is a bit misleading – he averaged 0.6 attempts per game.
All three players will likely travel to Long Island to play for the Nets’ affiliate. Assuming all three players have Schedule 10 in their contracts, each would be eligible for a bonus of up to $91,000 if he spends at least 60 days on Long Island.
