UFC 332 went down last night (Saturday, October 3, 2026) at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Natalia Silva win the vacant women’s flyweight title by defeating Wang Cong by unanimous decision (summary here). At the joint main event Payton Talbott eliminated Deiveson Figueiredo in the very first round (highlights), at the same time Roman Kopylov dusty Ateba Gautier, also in the very first round.
Who she should face next: Alexa Grasso
In a perfect world, Silva would defend the title against the former division queen, Valentina Shevchenkowho was forced to leave the title behind due to a serious injury which allowed Cong to compete for the title. But with “Bullet” almost a year out, it opens the door for a title shot for Grasso. Grasso — another former 125-pound champion — is on a two-fight winning streak. Maycee Barber and lastly Manon Fiorot. He’s currently ranked #2 in the division and has a loss to Silva, so the storyline is built in. However, we don’t know how the promotion feels at the moment and the matchmakers could very well book a title eliminator fight between Grasso and Grasso. Erin Blanchfieldwho is currently ranked No. 3 and on a two-game winning streak.
Last week I proposed Raul Rosas Jr. faces Talbott vs. Figueiredo with the winner, but called for a fight after Talbott won Sean O’Malley. While some prefer the fight between Talbott and Rosas Jr. sometimes taking place further down the line, an O’Malley fight might not make much sense right now, although for Talbott he would be another former champion to test his skills against. The problem is that “Suga” thinks he’s ready for a title shot, which will likely make this fight a little more difficult for him. Some may not like the two prospects in Rosas Jr. and Talbott right now, but this might be one that would be easier to book.
Who she should face next: Jaline Turner
Ribovics put on an exceptional performance against Green for his second consecutive knockout victory, putting him in line for a potential spot 15 of the best. If he doesn’t, maybe he can take out the 15th-ranked man in Turner’s division, who is also on a two-fight knockout winning streak. Both men have been in the fight game for a while and it looks like they are coming into their own. Let’s pit them against each other to see who can take that next big step.
Who should he face next: Jeremiah Wells
Soldic impressed in his UFC debut, earning a decision win Chaos Williamsso let’s put him up against another seasoned veteran in Wells. It’s not a huge step up, but neither is it a baby. Soldic is a former two-time champion, so he has the skills and experience not to take it slow. Wells is currently on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off a win Myktybek Orolbai.
Who she should face next: Shara Magomedov
Kopylov derailed Ateba Gautier jump to train for his second straight win (highlights). Next, I wouldn’t mind seeing him face an attacker as dangerous as him in Magomedov. “Bullet” is currently ranked 15th and is riding a two-game winning streak, with his most recent victory coming against Michel Pereira. Both men have nice standup and aren’t afraid to go for punches, which would make for a fan-friendly showdown.
