In her first try as a TNA Knockouts Television Champion, M By Elegance defended the title against Kyra Hogan. Thursday’s edition of TNA Impact. M arrived with The Elegance Brand at his side, while Allie accompanied her friend, the Knockouts Tag Team Champion in Hogan.
With the 10-minute time limit, M and Hogan were immediately blocked, and the latter surprised the former by collecting. Hogan continued his assault with a hip attack and a leg drop. M turned it in his favor shortly after, with a Blockbuster off the top followed by a Rearview in the center of the ring. He then followed it up by nailing Hogan with a double suplex.
Hogan eventually responded with a series of kicks and forearm strikes that M. A hip attack and a single leg kick gave him a near fall. When Hogan looked to hit the Face the Music, however, M denied it and stunned him with a scrambler.
The final moments of this title match saw Hogan avoid a moonsault from the defending champion before landing a missile dropkick. A successful dropkick and back elbow by Hogan followed, but before he could land a springboard, M knocked him out of the air. The Elegance Brand member quickly pinned Hogan with a piledriver to officially retain the title.
M captured the TNA Knockouts Television Championship defeating Jada Stone in the finals of the tournament on August 27. Looking forward, the new name itself will be exclusively reserved for Impact programming.
