Lola Wis discussed her journey to the WWE main roster and how he still has a hard time believing he’s on WWE Raw.
Vice recently made the move to the red brand after spending four years on WWE NXT, and he said that while speaking, “Destroyed gap“that he still hasn’t come to terms with being part of the main roster.
“Yeah, I mean, it still doesn’t feel real to me. But I’ve grounded myself because I’ve spent four and a half years in NXT and I feel like I’ve earned it. And even on Monday when I went out there to talk, I just stopped for a second and said, It’s so exciting and I’m so excited to see what’s to come,” she said.
Vice, a former NXT Women’s Champion, said she was confident before moving to the main roster, having spent several years in NXT and more recently in AAA. He believes that he needed the time on the development brand to develop his character.
“It’s something I felt because I knew I was ready and I knew I was ready and I had a lot of experience in NXT and AAA. So when I got the call, I said, And if that was the case before, I wouldn’t be ready and have as much experience as I do now. So I feel like I’ve developed my character and I’m ready to grow on the main roster.”
The former MMA star said goodbye to both AAA and NXT in August in anticipation of his main roster call-up. Meanwhile, his main roster career got off to a great start as he won his first match; In a Money in the Bank qualifier, defeating Raquel Rodriguez and Kelani Jordan.
