Liverpool’s inconsistent form continued at the weekend with a 0-0 draw at home to winless Premier League Fulham.
The Reds play another struggling London side on Tuesday Tottenham visit Anfield in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Liverpool Head coach Andoni Iraola is hoping for a much-improved display although a number of changes are expected, overseeing a team that has reached the final in three of the last five years, triumphing in 2022 and 2024.
Spurs are without a goal or a win in their last four Premier League games and the boss, Roberto De Zerbi, continues to struggle to get a tune from his expensive team.
