Where to watch Liverpool-Arsenal: TV and online broadcasts

Liverpool versus arsenal kicks off at 16:30 GMT on Sunday 1 November at Anfield.

The match is live on Sky Sports in the UK and can be streamed on the Sky Go app.

Here is the full list of International broadcasters of the Premier League.

Liverpool-Arsenal preview

Liverpool have hit their stride at exactly the right time. Andoni Iraola’s side host champions Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, unbeaten in five games in all competitions and knowing a win would close the gap on the Gunners to just three points.

The uncertainty surrounding Manchester City means this could turn out to be a battle between the two most likely title winners.

The Reds needed penalties to overcome Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, after a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, but Iraola made seven changes for this game so his first-choice players should be fresh. Before that, Liverpool had won four in a row, including a 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend which gave them their first Premier League home win of the season.

Iraola’s record in 2026 is remarkable. Since his time at Bournemouth, he has lost just two of his 27 Premier League games this calendar year, winning 12 and drawing 13. This gives him the lowest defeat percentage of any Premier League manager in a calendar year since Jürgen Klopp in 2019. One of those two defeats came against Arsenal in January.

Arsenal are second on 21 points and beat Everton 2-0 at the Emirates last weekend. However, their season took a turn for the worse on Tuesday night as League Two strugglers Fleetwood knocked them out of the EFL Cup.

That defeat also cost them Max Dowman, who was sent off for his reaction to a strong challenge and is now suspended. With Bukayo Saka also out, Mikel Arteta arrives at Anfield without much options.

Premier League table

  • position 1, 2, 3, 4: Promotion – Champions League (League stage)

  • position 5: Promotion – Europa League (League phase)

  • position 18, 19, 20: Relegation – Championship

Liverpool-Arsenal team news

Dominik Szoboszlai is close to returning from his hamstring injury but Iraola has asked for patience so a start looks unlikely. Víctor Munoz is a doubt with a knee problem after missing the Brighton and Chelsea games. Conor Bradley, Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Giovanni Leoni are all sidelined.

For Arsenal, Saka is out with a thigh injury, and Arteta has said he will be out for weeks. Dowman is suspended and Noni Madueke has an ankle problem. If the England international is not fit, Arteta will have to reorganize and play a midfielder, perhaps Martin Odegaard in a wider role.

William Saliba and Christos Tzolis remain on the sidelines.

Lineups expected for Liverpool-Arsenal

Liverpool: Alisson; Araújo, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Barcola, Wirtz, Gakpo; Isaac

Arsenal: Stripe; Timber, Consa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Guimaraes, Zubimendi; Odegaard, Eze, Havertz

Liverpool-Arsenal recent form and statistics

  • Arsenal are winless in their last 13 Premier League visits to Anfield (drawing five and losing eight) since winning 2-0 in 2012-13.
  • Arsenal failed to score in the two Premier League meetings between the clubs last season
  • Liverpool have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games against the reigning champions (W3 D4), suffering a 4-1 defeat in April 2023 against Manchester City.
  • No team has kept more clean sheets in the Premier League since the start of September than Liverpool (four in six games)
  • Three of Liverpool’s last five goals against the Gunners in the Premier League have come from set pieces

Liverpool-Arsenal prediction

It is impossible to imagine that Arsenal can be as bad as they were at Fleetwood. But while they haven’t come out on top in recent weeks, they’re still at the top of the table and we can’t see them losing here.

Whether they are good enough to claim the three points is another matter.
