Liv Morgan’s recent WWE opponents include Becky Lynch and now former WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Walker. Who are his favorite in-ring opponents?
on the latest edition of “Six Feet Under” Morgan pointed to another pair of former women’s champions, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
“My favorite person to work with, I find things about all of my opponents that I like, but I guess off the top of my head, I enjoy working with Rhea. I enjoy working with IYO,” said Morgan. “I enjoy all my opponents to varying degrees. I get something different out of it, or they get something different. So there are things I like about all my opponents.
“Probably Rhea or IYO (brings the best), just because they’re both physically dominant in different ways,” he continued. “I like the fight. I like fighting. I’m full of crampons, so I enjoy the physicality they bring. I feel like it makes me go a little deeper, it makes me step into something a little different just because I have to match what they’re giving me.”
Morgan’s rivalry with Ripley dates back to 2022, when they originally teamed in a match at WrestleMania 38 for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. This pairing was ultimately unsuccessful as they failed to capture the titles on two separate occasions, which later prompted The Era. Since then, their feud has been on and off, with one of their last matches pitting them against each other Opposite ends of a January 2026 title fight.
SKY stood by Ripley in that Women’s Tag Team Championship match. Their first televised clash begins in December 2024 when SKY challenged the World Championship again.
