Rapper Lil Yachty had his first WWE match on Sunday Night’s Main Event where he five minutes saved against Baron Corbin earn Trick Williams a shot at the United States Championship. The yacht was months of training at the WWE Performance Centerand he said Chris Van Vliet on “Insight”. that he was not nervous on the day of the game.
Yachty said there are some things he would have done differently in the fight, however, after watching it. She said she would take off her tank top in addition to adding more flair.
“I would tease more because I have a personality,” he said. “I would interact more with the crowd. I would fill in more. Just wish it gave it more character. I think I would have ended up on that top rope differently. I think I would have ended that moment differently when it was a countdown.”
While he would fix some things, Yachty said he didn’t get any criticism behind the scenes. He said he knew Paul “Triple H” Levesque would say something, but he got two hugs from his boss along with the congratulations. He said he felt the love when he went back into gorilla pose.
“It’s like, ‘I’m praying everyone claps when I come back through the curtain,'” he said. “And everybody’s back there clapping. That was dope… I’m dope with this s***, man. I really do. I’ve never tried to make anyone believe how invested and how much I love this because it’s not about the money. I don’t want anyone to think I’m just getting some crazy coupon. I’m losing money doing this. But I love everything. I love it.”
