Barcelona they will aim to maintain their perfect start to the new season when they visit Levante.
Hansi Flick’s side have racked up four straight wins to start LaLiga campaign and thrashed Feyenoord 5-1 to start their bid for Champions League glory in midweek.
The reigning champions have scored 17 goals and conceded just two in LaLiga so far this season, and they have reason to be confident of a dominant away performance.
In fact, Levante have failed to score in three of their four games this season, despite only suffering one defeat.
All five of Levante’s goals this season came in an emphatic win over Real Betis in their only home game of the season so far, and there is recent history to suggest a high-scoring game will be in order at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.
Barça won 3-2 in this game last season, an own goal in the 91st minute gave Flick the points.
But Levante have won six in a row at home since last season, and captain Roger Brugue sees no reason why they can’t make it seven with an upset.
“Barça are a great opponent and are coming into this match in good form, but we also know that we are strong at home,” Brugue told Levante’s official media.
“We’ve won six in a row at home and we’re going there without fear, without any inferiority complex.”

Frenkie de Jong (knee) and Roony Bardghji (knee) are out for Barcelona, for whom Eric Garcia is likely to play with a mask after suffering a facial injury in the Valencia defeat.
