Lee Cutler beat one McKenna brother, now he wants to fight the other for the world middleweight title.
Cutler defeated Stevie McKenna in a thriller in 2024. He lost a technical decision to Sam Eggington in another thrilling bout. Now looking to roar back into form, Cutler stopped Aaron Sutton in a return to Bournemouth and will face Louis Greene next.
Greene, a hard puncher, also has an incredibly aggressive fighting style. Cutler and Greene will square off at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday, live Sky Sports.
“It’s a dangerous fight,” Cutler said Sky Sports. “I don’t say no. It’s a fight that the fans want to see and it’s a fight that I believe takes me to another level.
“(Greene is) tough. Punches extremely hard. I’ve got to feel it for the whole 10 rounds we’re out there. I’m fully prepared for a tough night.
“It’s one of those fights, we’re one step ahead of each other and that’s how we have to see each other,” he added.
“I’ve got to be smart out there and box how I know I can box. If I can do that, I’ll come away with the win.”
He had been waiting for Stevie McKenna to seek a rematch with him.
McKenna drew Owen O’Neill on the undercard of brother Aaron McKenna’s IBF world middleweight title win.
“It surprises me. I thought I’d get a call after that. I thought he might not want to fight me on the Dublin card because it’s a big night for the family because of his brother and stuff,” Cutler reflected.

Lee Cutler and Louis Greene had an intense encounter as their fight was announced on Sky Sports News for Zuffa Boxing 11 in September.
“But I fully expected him to get past his opponent and then call me after that. But the fact that he didn’t even mention my name shows what it’s all about.”
If he can get past the 10-round middleweight with Greene, he will be looking for an eventual fight with new champion Aaron McKenna.
“I think he’s very good. I think he’s a tough fight for anybody. But he’s somebody I see myself in there with. Take him,” Cutler said.

Stephen McKenna and Lee Cutler exchanged a pair of verbal blows following their respective Zuffa Boxing 07 victories in Bournemouth.
“But as I said I am fully focused on Louis Green because he is a very dangerous opponent and if he takes his eye off the ball for a second, anything can happen.
“I’m an up and coming fighter, he’s an up and coming fighter, he’s a big puncher, very dangerous.
“All he has to do is touch someone and then the lights go out.”
