Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a gruesome injury during Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Green Bay Packers. He was taken to the treatment tent and replaced by Carson Wentz. Update: Murray has been It is confirmed that he is out of the game.
Murray rolled outside the pocket for a short gain as he was sandwiched by two Packers defenders. Murray was helped off the field by trainers and appeared to struggle to get up at first. After being evaluated in the blue tent, he entered the Vikings locker room.

Packers defensive backs Javon Bullard and Lucas Van Nes scored against Murray. He lost his helmet on the play and immediately went into the fence position. Bullard was called for unnecessary fighting on the play.
