Keith Wilson has been trying to find his footing since going single and has explained how the WWE show has helped him immensely.
Wilson presented prominently alongside The Miz on WWE SmackDownwhile also wrestling on other shows including the main event. with the show is now streaming on the Rumble platformWilson discussed the significance of the move in an interview withThe Sportster“and why does he consider Main Event to be an underrated show?”
“Look, as ever, WWE is expanding and growing, and it’s now moving to a new platform, which is the Rumble. So Main Event every week and Main Event is always the little sleeper hit of the show. You know, it doesn’t have the main storylines that Raw and SmackDown can do, but it does have the Superstars vs. seeing that you always want to fight. the superstars you want to see against, it’s exciting,” he said.
Wilson highlighted what makes the Main Event show unique and separates it from Raw and SmackDown. She feels the show helped her experiment and try new things when she was forced to become a singles star following an injury to her tag team partner Elton Prince.
“For me personally, what Main Event means and what makes it stand out to me, when my former tag team partner got injured, you know, I was lost. I had never entered the WWE singles world,” he said. “So I had to present myself as a singles artist. So the main event was that platform. You know, I got to wrestle people like Sheamus, Damian Priest, and Shinsuke Nakamura. These are all key performers at the event. And I was trying to figure myself out.”
She said the show gave her the chance to try new outfits and new looks, opportunities she wouldn’t necessarily have on main roster shows.
