Keith Wilson originally arrived in WWE alongside his Pretty Deadly tag team partner Elton Prince. Name of the prince suffered a serious neck injury that required surgeryWilson was alone for a while as he denounced what he believed to be toxic masculinity. He teamed up with The Miz because he believed Dunnhausen’s slurs weren’t real. Dannhausen continued to outplay Wilson and Miz for a while, leading to a game at Backlash earlier this year. Wilson and Miz were on top losing at the end of Bakusa’s debut. They continued to work together live and most recently on Main Event.
on Battleground Podcast:Wilson spoke about his love of James Bond and how he wanted to incorporate elements such as the suit and “Bond-esque entrance” into his character. Just like the Bond-inspired character, Wilson says she tried hard to be in Secret Hervice and even played Chelsea Green.
“I was a James Bond/Secret Hervice mash-up and I would have really loved it back then. It would have been some fun stuff, but it wasn’t going to happen yet,” Wilson explained.
Wilson said he’s surprised WWE has been open to some of his pitches regarding “toxic masculinity” gimmicks, but suggests it’s because they suffer from toxic masculinity and need a man to tell them.
