Championship Heavyweight Champion Killer Cross, ex-WWE Carrion Cross, is set to defend his gold against another ex-WWE, now TNA star, and in a recent promo, he invoked the name of the late Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, to take a shot at his opponent.
Cross will face Joseph Sawyer, former Wyatt Patient Joe Gacy. Cross cut a frenzy of social media hype On Sawyer, where he implied that they were once meant to be stablemates. In the promo, Cross stated that it was looking for Sawyer following his TNA debutbut he will always be known for his former stable.
“It’s a brand you’ll never escape,” Cross said. “But I know who you are and I’m so proud of you. You are handling this whole disaster so well. I think that’s why he chose you. You know who I’m talking about? You know, I think to myself, Joe, it makes me so sad that I wasn’t in Wyatt Sicks. Because when Wyndham Sicks was talking about the three of us, there was something. Originally six platforms, but there were going to be many more… From time to time I asked myself:

Cross said he was reassigned for a bigger reason. He said Rotonda knew Sawyer was destined for greatness and greatness needed a lot of backlash, and he was going to make Sawyer live up to it by “kicking the ever-loving f******” out of him when he got it. That first chance will be at ACW Mischief Night 2 on October 17th at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York.
