There were many of them heaped praise on Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega after Ospreay defeated Omega at AEW All In for the AEW World Men’s Championship. And, perhaps in a bit of a shock to many, one person who thoroughly enjoyed the match was Kevin Nash. About last week’s issue “Click this” The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that not only was he a fan of the match, but that it actually affected him a bit in a way that doesn’t happen often.
“The last thing I watched that really, really moved me was when I watched Ospreay and Omega at Wembley,” Nash said.
Nash admitted that he enjoyed the match despite the fact that “it’s not my style”, even suggesting that it was so far from his preferred style of wrestling that it was comparable to the difference in wrestling between Carl Gotch and Lou Thesz compared to French catch wrestlers. He was so excited about what Osprey and Omega were doing that he wanted to see the duo team against the two WWE stars in what Nash considered a major clash of styles.
“I would… last night I was sitting there, I was in my booking mode and I thought… if I had to pick two guys, Cody would be there, but I’m going to go with Seth and Roman because we gave them s**t last week against Osprey and Ken,” Nash said. “Look at that. Put them in an af****g tag match and let those two different styles work together.”
