Fans hoping to see Kendall Gray back in a WWE NXT ring may have to wait a little longer for that to happen.
Taking XThe former NXT Women’s Champion revealed that she received a health update on Tuesday. Based on his wording and choice of emoji, however, it doesn’t seem like it was a good one.
“Got some news today…looks like the doctors aren’t on my side yet,” she wrote alongside a “diagonal face-mouth” emoji, which usually expresses disappointment or uncertainty.
I got some news today… it seems the doctors are still not on my side🫤

Gray last wrestled at NXT Heatwave on August 30. There he is unsuccessfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Kelani Jordan, and suffered a double head injury in the process. As later Posted by NXT Commentator Vic Joseph on September 1st, WWE’s medical team ruled out any form of contact concussion. However, Gray was diagnosed with vertigo, a vestibular disorder associated with loss of balance and a sudden sensation of spinning. It was also announced that he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
In Gray’s absence, his ally Ren Sinclair sought revenge by attacking Jordan with a kendo stick on last week’s episode of “NXT.” His actions, which also included punching the referee, resulted in a suspension, meaning he and Gray will both be away from the NXT brand for an unknown amount of time. Jordan, on the other hand, successfully defends her first title against Jaida Parker and puts on an impressive showing in the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier.
