Former WWE talent Ryback has gained somewhat of a reputation for controversy since his retirement from the promotion, at least in part due to his aggressive social media rants. Back in 2016, Ryback and Kalisto feuded for the WWE United States Championshipexhibiting a “David and Goliath” dynamic. Looking back, Kalisto claims that working with Ryback was great.

He then claimed that it was Ryback who wanted to work with him and assured him that he would take all the heat to put him in their feud. “Man, we just clicked. When we got in the ring, we just clicked … When we started working with each other, man, things just started flowing.”
Kalisto went so far as to say that Ryback was one of his favorites to work in WWE, recalling their big vs. small dynamic and noting that they hit each other hard in a way that wrestlers want friction to be in wrestling. “I loved working with him,” Kalisto said. “I would like to work with him again.
