The final fight for “Juicy J”.
A longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight veteran Julian Erosa will make his final walk into the Octagon this weekend (Saturday, October 31, 2026) when he fights Jeong Yeong Lee on UFC Vegas 123 initial map from Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Erosa, 37, recently quietly revealed that the Halloween showdown will be her retirement fight, regardless of the outcome.
“I haven’t made a big deal out of it, but this is my last fight,” Erosa said A fanatic’s view. “I just wanted to give myself another chance to try and put my hand up, but I wanted to make a date for when I’m going to quit because I think the problem is win, lose or draw, I want to fight again. So I’ve got to make a date because if I win the fight, I want to do it all over again after I win the fight because that’s obviously the best feeling as a fighter.”
Erosa understands that neither winning nor losing will make the journey any easier. A win would convince him that he still belongs, while a loss would leave him hunting for redemption.
“I think it’s actually harder when I win my fight that I want to hang it up because, ‘Why am I hanging it up? I’m doing well. Let’s keep at it,” Erosa said. “But if I lose, all I want is redemption.”
“So, win, lose or draw, I think it’s just something I want to do again anyway. I have to make a conscious decision beforehand that this is going to be my last fight and be comfortable with it – be good with it.”
“Juicy J” enters his final appearance after a first-round knockout loss Lerryan Douglas March at UFC Seattle (watch the highlights). Before this setback, Erosa had won three in a row by defeat Ricardo Ramos, Christian Rodriguezand Darren Elkins before losing a very competitive fight Melquizael Costa.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 veteran has been competing professionally since 2010 and survived several exits from the UFC before finally finding consistency during his third promotion. His fight against Lee will mark his 19th appearance in the Octagon.
Erosa plans to move her family from Las Vegas back to her home state of Washington, D.C., where she will focus on her family and business opportunities. He also acknowledged that training has become more grueling, especially as younger fighters enter the gym with more energy and continue to close the skill gap.
“The order of important things in my life has changed a little since my son was born,” Erosa said. “My life used to be a fight and now I have other things that are on top of that. So I have to focus on those things and if I can get out of the fight healthy, I want that.”
Whether he leaves the Octagon with one final victory or some other reason to seek redemption, Erosa has already decided that the final tally at UFC Vegas 123 will also signal the end of his fighting career.
