The Brazilian made his UFC heavyweight debut at UFC 332strikes out Mick Parkin
knee at 3:35 of the opening round. Walker has now asked
Ultimate Fighting Championship for a fight against a veteran of the division Marcin Tybura.
Johnny Walker is targeting Marcin Tybura in a December UFC fight
Walker spoke talkSPORT that he wants to face Tybura in December, preferably at UFC 335 in Las Vegas.
“I’ve asked Marcin Tybura for my next fight. If he’s ready by December, I’d like to fight him,” Walker said.
Tybura, 40, has lost three straight fights by unanimous decision Tyrell Fortune and Aleksandar Rakic after striking out Ante Delija
in September 2025. His last win came against Parkin in March 2025.
Walker wants more experience at heavyweight before taking on the division’s elite. He said Tybura’s decade in the UFC makes him the perfect opponent.
“I want more experience before I start fighting at a higher level because I believe I have to,” Walker said. “I don’t want to get ahead of myself.”
