Joe Hendry has has already tasted TNA and WWE NXT.“Now as a member of the WWE main roster, he aims to claim one of the two respective world titles in a row.
However, how does he intend to accomplish that goal? when appearing on “Insight with Chris Van Vleet” Hendry explained how small progress each week can lead him to his desired destination.
“If you’re not in this business to be a world champion, you’re in the wrong business,” he said. “That’s why we get into this business. Becoming world champion should be the goal. What I do and how I do it, I have really honest conversations with myself. I say: The answer is that there is work to be done. There is a long road ahead. But what I love about it is, well, in order for me to cover this ground and get to where I need to go, I’m going to get 1% better every week. How am I going to do this? Okay, I have to do this; I have to do it.”
To illustrate the progress he’s made thus far, Hendry recalled his double-flop slam he dished out to The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, a move he’s recently put into flower. At the gym, Hendry also noted that she is in the process of leaning out to achieve what she described as a more aesthetic figure.
The former NXT Champion admitted that he still has a long way to go before reaching the WWE World Championship. However, he refuses to let the aspect of time get in the way of his pursuit. In fact, he accepts it.
