All black people Assistant coach Jason Ryan said the coaching staff saw exactly what they wanted from Dutch lock Fabian Holland against the Wallabies in Sydney, a week after they were left out of the Eden Park clash.

Ryan’s All Blacks have arrived Edinburgh after two comprehensive victories over the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup, the second of which saw the Netherlands dominate in Sydney.

Ball made 24 tackles, most of them in the second half, as the All Blacks ran amok in the opening forty minutes at Accor Stadium against their trans-Tasman rivals.

Holland returned to the starting line-up for the second Test after missing out on Josh Lord, who had been trusted alongside Barrett.

Speaking to the media from their hotel in Edinburgh, Ryan admitted the coaching staff were impressed with Holland.

“yes, we did (see what they wanted). We thought he was outstanding. I think about it he and A scooter both of them had the the majority wears and probably the the majority solves in between to them of our firmly fives.

“So Fabian, like I think about it I he said a a little weeks before, he is had that shoulders injury i.a big series in Africa where he is still getting used to play after along time off.

“He is still rehabilitation, getting that confidence right. But I I know that he is Got a a lot of confidence out of that second Bledisloe Cup test, and he is right where he needs that to be title into this Northern Tour.”

The long-serving All Blacks assistant coach admitted they may have wondered where the next number of locks would come from before, but now it appears as though one of the strongest depth positions has moved on.

“That no looks like that a long time before that that was Alone Whitelock and Brodie Retallick who were only there everything the time, and A scooter was apparently in the mix also, bTue now we are given some guys a the real one taste of that.

“When we appointed the Nations Cchampionship team, we could to have a have a look at Jamie done here. We are quite a bit impressed with him in South Africa when he came on, but I think about it the competition is really exciting.

“They did everything at a great year, everything of them, and Scooter’s the experienced one, and they are everything competition really hard, and it is exciting. ”
