The first two weeks of the Lions’ season haven’t painted the picture of a team firing on all cylinders.
Week 1 saw them blow a 21-0 lead to the Saints before rallying for an overtime win, and they fell by 21 points during a 41-31 loss at Buffalo in Week 2. That has led to a lot of doubt about the team’s ability to contend at a high level this season, but the quarterback thinks it’s the best team with him.

A win over the Jets this Sunday would keep the Vultures at bay, but a loss would probably make Goff and company a little less happy with where they are headed heading into October.
