Former Bellator standout Michael Page scored his last Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) victory Nursultan Ruziboev at UFC Paris last weekend (Saturday, September 5, 2026) at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
Despite Page winning his fourth straight fight the latest in low output power performance wasn’t enough to secure a new UFC contract. UFC CEO Dana White confirmed on Tuesday that the promotion had no intention of re-signing “Venom,” making him officially a free agent.
Page leaves the UFC with an impressive 5-1 record, but didn’t record a stoppage in his six Octagon appearances.
However, another major player has already publicly entered the conversation.
Jake Paulco-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), expressed interest in bringing Page to the newly merged MVP-PFL company in one absolutely obvious sales pitch.
“I think it’s time to bring MVP to MVP,” Jake Paul wrote on social media.
To be fair, most mixed martial arts (MMA) fans will probably respond with some variation of, “Go get him.”
Still, Page remains a recognizable name, a proven high-level fighter and an incredibly easy athlete to market under the MVP banner.
The newly merged promotion could also provide him with several fresh matchups in two weight classes. Thad Jean and Shamil Musayev would be intriguing opponents at lightweight Johnny Eblen, Fabian Edwards and Bryan Battle could welcome him to middleweight.
And if MVP MMA doesn’t work out, Page still has other options. Karate Combat seems tailor-made for his elusive striking style, while BKFC have already shown interest in bringing him back for another fight.
MVP fighting for MVP within MVP?
The marketing department could practically take a year off.
