Jake Paul headlines a December 24 boxing event in Dubai as the most valuable offers look for his next opponent
Paul has not competed since Joshua knocked him out in the sixth round on December 19, 2025. The former two-time unified heavyweight champion broke Paul’s jaw, which required surgery. Paul said the setback hasn’t dampened his motivation.
“I’ve spent years proving people wrong, taking risks and pushing myself against opponents no one thought I could face,” Paul said in a statement released by Most Valuable Promotions. “Nothing that’s happened has changed my belief in myself or what I’m working towards. I’m hungrier than ever.”
The 29-year-old also challenged potential opponents to accept the match.
“We have a lot of names on the list; we’ll see who signs,” Paul said. “Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town and somebody’s going to kick out.”
MVP co-founder and CEO Nakisa Bidarian said the promotion ends Paul’s adversary.
Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Darren Till
is known to be a front runner, with sports betting BetOnline initial odds determination Paulil (-200), Till (+153), which means a 66.7% chance that the former will win.
The event is organized on the basis of a cooperation agreement signed with the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
