Makhachov recently discredited Jones’ title run

Last time I checked, my hand was raised every time I was in the Octagon since one of you 3. Your own trainer said you’ve been KO’d, flat-lined, LOL; whatever you need to say, keep chasing it, Islam.
Responding to Jones, Makhatchov said he has no intention of diminishing the former two-time UFC champion’s achievements. However, the Russian subtly reminded Jones of his multiple run-ins with the law.
“Jon, I’m not trying to diminish your accomplishments in any way,” Makhachov replied. “But your whole life seems to be about breaking the rules in one way or another, and somehow you can never take the blame.”
Jones hasn’t fought since the punch Stipe Miocic. He subsequently vacated the heavyweight title but has left the door open for a return to the Octagon.
