Indy Hartwell defeated Sia Brookside in an impromptu World Knockouts Championship match on TNA Impact.
Hartwell defeated Brookside for the title at Bound For Glory earlier this month. She came out on Thursday’s show to interrupt Daria Rae during her return and subsequent promo, prompting Rae to immediately book the rematch despite Hartwell not being in ring gear.
Brookside then made his entrance to start the match, using a relatively quick left hand attack on the outside of the ring.
He brought the action back inside the ring, later targeting an arm on the mat, but was unable to reverse the match. Hartwell fought his way into the fight and went for a full nelson slam, but due to arm damage, he was unable to complete it. That allowed Brookside to take advantage and go right back to the wing.
Brookside looked for the Darkside DDT, but Hartwell slipped out of his grasp, connecting with a big boot and slam for the win.
After the match, Zoey Serrano and Shayna Basler entered the ring to ambush Hartwell. Basler choked out the World Knockouts Champion before taking a picture with his belt while Rey watched the fun in his face from the entrance ramp.
