Prime Day is technically a sales event, but for me, it’s also the unofficial start of holiday shopping. I’m really lucky to say that I spend a lot of time around golf gear, so when I find great deals or unique things, I have to share them with you. This year, I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I bought gifts for myself and several people on my list. Here are the five Prime Day Deals I bought.
1. Odyssey Golf AI-ONE 2-Ball Cruiser Putter – $199.99
Yes, I already own this putter. I also firmly believe that you need a backup putter.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: u Odyssey 2-Ball Cruiser he might be the greatest putter of all time. The 2-Ball alignment system is still one of the easiest and most intuitive ways to line up a putt, and the longer Cruiser setup adds so much stability and confidence that it makes the whole thing feel like a cheat code.
Here’s the kicker: this is it $200 to Golf Galaxywhich is actually $65 off the Prime Day price on Amazon. This alone is a good reminder that Amazon is not always the best, or only, place to shop during Prime Day.
At $200, I wouldn’t think twice. Now I have a backup of one of my favorite putters ever, and I got it for an absolute steal. I can’t express how good this putter is, and I really can’t express how good this price is.
2. Vice Pro+ golf balls – $28.45/dozen
I’m always one to keep a healthy stock of golf balls that I really like, and the Vice Pro+ it’s my ball of choice from Vice.
Our 2026 test supported why. The Pro+ was one of the most spinning balls in the entire test and ranked in the top five percent for full-wedge spinMaking it a particularly strong option for average to high speed players who prioritize stopping power around the greens.
Vice still has these listed at $41.99 per dozen on their own site. To $28.45 a dozenAmazon’s October Prime Day brings them well below. This is a seriously good opportunity to stock up.
I buy them because I already know I like them. At this price, I bought four boxes.
3. Amazon Basics Golf Swing Trainer – $34.42
We live in a world where the Orange Whip costs $119. I’ve always wanted one, but I never got it because I never spent more than $100 on a training aid.
So when I saw the Amazon Basics Golf Swing Trainer in order $34.42it was an instant buy.
I’m not expecting it to be quite as good as the Orange Whip, but as a fan of Epicurean philosophy, I’m a big believer in “good enough”. I’m still not a good enough golfer to convince myself that I need a $100-plus training aid.
This should also do what I want it to do: help with timing, sequence and speed while giving me something useful to swing at home. At this price, it will get a lot of use.
4. Sun Mountain Eclipse 3.5 Stand Golf Bag – $185.99
Ever since I saw the gray camo Stitch SL2 Gen 2, I’ve wanted a gray camo golf bag. I never pulled the trigger. As someone who keeps a few bags in rotation, I can now proudly state that I am the owner of one.
For Prime Day in October, Amazon has the Sun Mountain Eclipse 3.5 up to $186. I feel pretty good about buying too, because we rated the Eclipse 3.5 as one of Sun Mountain’s best hiking backpacks of 2025. I know I’m getting a quality hiking bag from a brand that knows how to do it, and I’m getting it for a really good price.
I finally got my gray camo bag. Better yet, I had a pretty good one.
5. adidas Tech Response 3.0 Spikeless golf shoes – $41.17
I mentioned the adidas Tech Response yesterday and, to $41.17I better believe I practiced what I preached and bought a pair.
I hate taking my nicest golf shoes to the range sessions, and that’s exactly what they will be. Shoot, they probably double my bad weather shoes too.
In the McGahee family, we call hitters peelers. That’s exactly what these will be.
For a little over $40, I got a pair of shoes that I can wear to the range, in the rain, in the mud and pretty much anywhere else I don’t want to risk ruining something nicer.
6. Izzo Golf Swami Launch Master Golf Launch Simulator – $88.92
Let’s call a spade a spade: at first glance, the Izzo Golf Swami Launch Master it looks a lot like the Shot Scope LM1. The LM1 is already one of the best values in the launch-monitor category at around $200, offering basic but useful data like club speed, ball speed, smash factor, carry distance and total distance. Izzo seems to be playing a very similar route.
The difference is the price.
To $88.92I honestly said, “What the hell?” and bought one. Obviously I haven’t tried it yet, so I don’t pretend to know how accurate or clean it is, but a launch monitor for under $100 is fascinating on its own.
If it works as well, this could be a world beater for the money. And if it is not? It was a cheap experiment.
Anyway, I’m really excited to try this.
7. Adams Golf New Idea Package Set
My dad talked me into finally getting into golf, and I spent the last few months looking for a starter set that didn’t feel like complete garbage.
As a golf nerd, I still remember when Adams Idea clubs they were legitimately excellent, so when I saw this complete package for sale for $500I decided to take the plunge.
I liked the look, the reviews were encouraging and, for a complete set at this price, I thought it was low risk.
For a newer golfer, $500 for a complete set of clubs that at least has some real golf DNA behind it is a very good deal.
Dad, I hope you’re not reading this.
