Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos Game Preview:
After opening the season with a 27-7 loss against the 49ers in Australia, the Rams bounced back. with a 28-6 win against the New York Giants on Monday night.
Stafford, who didn’t throw a touchdown pass in Week 1, threw for 327 yards with four touchdowns and an interception in the win.
WR Davante Adams had eight catches for 195 yards with two touchdowns.
Three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald made his debut in the season after two years of retirement. Donald played 57 percent of the snaps on defense and had three tackles, including a tackle for loss.
“The game really wasn’t that fast as I thought,” said Donald after the victory. “It was more of me calming myself down, skipping things or just my feet not being on the ground like they should have been, not trusting my eyes, little things like that. But playing the game, when I stayed in ’17, ’18, it was the same way when I came back, it took a few plays to get going. It’s a little bit different. It’s a little bit different. I saw the film, what I saw a little bit, that’s how good I saw it in two years. I made a mistake and just cleaned it up.”
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-13 last Sundayearning their first win of the season.
In Week 1, the Broncos scored just 10 points against Kansas City and were held to just 176 yards of total offense, but their offense made an impact in Week 2, totaling 392 yards.
Nix completed 22 of 31 for 288 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception.
WR Jayden Waddle had eight catches for 138 yards.
THE Nate Adkins tied his career high with three catches, including a touchdown.
