Hocevar Unfazed by Bristol Fallout. “It’s just part of the games” is among the media available Friday at Kansas Speedway.
Carson Hotsavar isn’t worried that the fallout from his confrontation with Ryan Blaney at Bristol Motor Speedway could lead to further retaliation from other drivers. During media availability at Kansas Speedway on Friday, the driver was asked by Reid Sears of Fan4Racing about his interaction with Josh Berry and Ryan Preece after the incident and whether Blaney’s retaliation might encourage other drivers to settle scores with him.

“No, it doesn’t bother me,” Hotcevar said. “I didn’t really hear what they were saying or anything, but I think it’s good for the sport.”
The driver acknowledged that Berry and Pryce, both Ford drivers, would be naturally inclined.
“Obviously, they’re in Ford’s camp and everything, and they’re going to support their guy,” Hotcevar said. “It wouldn’t have been any different. The roles were reversed.”
The incident between Hosevar and Blaney became one of the main stories of the last race at Bristol, with Blaney confronting Hosevar at the back of the race and a fight quickly ensued. The friction between the two drivers appeared to have finally subsided, but tensions continued among the rest of the garage entering the Kansas race weekend.
Hojevar, however, does not seem to be concerned that the situation will worsen.
“I’m not too worried about it,” Hotcevar said. “I think it’s just part of the game.”
For the driver, the interactions surrounding the Bristol incident are another part of the competitive dynamics that come with the NASCAR garage, not something he believes will create a bigger problem for the rest of the season.
