Tom Nolan punched his ticket to UFC Vegas 123 LIVE last night (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026) from the Paramount+ Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Australian faced veteran lightweight Renato Moicano with a third-round TKO and strikes.
This fight got off to a quick start and it quickly went in Moicano’s favor. That’s because “Money” was able to lean on his grappling early to score a takedown and move back into control. Nolan was surprisingly good at defending all of the submission attempts that ended the fight, but it was still a great start for Moicano. The veteran lightweight continued his efforts early in the second round with another takedown of Nolan. This time, the referee didn’t give Moicano as much time for a back check and finally helped the fight stand up. Then Nolan took over the legs and started hurting Moicano with punches and a massive knee.
Nolan, who got all the momentum going to end the second inning, went to bat in the third. He was able to hurt Moicano and quickly jumped on top for some huge elbows and kicks with “Money” on the ropes. The referee warned Moicano to fight back, but he was toast. Nolan walked away with the biggest win of his career.
