UFC Vegas 122. Allen decided to criticize the promotion, prompting a strong response from Cejudo, who now claims the UFC’s female middleweight has stirred up the feud.
Cejudo claims his wife received a “disgusting” text from Allen’s wife. Olympic gold medalists don’t want their family involved.
“Brendan Allen’s wife sent my wife a nasty message,” Cejudo said on the “Pound 4 Pound” podcast. “He and I are both American, married to Brazilians, and we have American children… He just went off; I don’t want to repeat that. I say don’t bring my family into this. Let men be men.”
