The Hawks signed in advance Keyshawn Bryant and refused protection Devon Higgssaid the team’s press release.
Bryant has three seasons of experience in the NBA G League, suiting up for the Ontario Clippers, San Diego Clippers and Windy City Bulls. In 40 career games, he is averaging 9.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per contest. Bryant was also a member of the Bulls’ Summer League team in July and played in two games.
As a member of the Windy City Bulls, the 6’6″ forward averaged 12.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per game, including a 41-point outburst against the Westchester Knicks. Bryant also played for the Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League and the Sudbury Five of the Basketball Super League. He went undrafted in 2023 after four seasons. in South Carolina and one in South Florida.
The Hawks did not disclose the details of Bryant’s deal, but it appears to be non-guaranteed Agreement 10is slated to receive a bonus of up to $91,000 if he joins the College Park Skyhawks — the Hawks’ G-League affiliate — and spends at least 60 days with the team this season.
The same goes for the Higgs, which was signed on Tuesday. Higgs has mostly pitched in the G League since going undrafted out of Georgia Southwest in 2023, suiting up for the Motor City Cruise, Greensboro Swarm and Skyhawks.
The Hawks once again have a full 21-man roster.
