Hank and Tank defeated The Creeds to advance to the semi-finals of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Classic on “WWE NXT”.
Hank and Tank started the match with the upper hand, sharing the ring and isolating Brutus Creed. But very soon after Hank Walker entered the contest, Brutus found his way into the fight and tagged in his brother Julius. From there it was their turn to cut the ring in half and isolate Walker, though once again Brutus returned to the contest, the pendulum swung the other way.
That pendulum continued to swing back and forth until the deadline started with an almighty rally by Walker running over Julius in the ring before following Brutus’ lead on the outside. He and Tank tried to lay a match in the ring with sandwich lips on Julius, only for Brutus to roll Walker out of the ring and end up sandwiching himself.
The referee got distracted trying to stop Brutus from getting back in the ring, allowing Hank and Tank to both get back in the ring and drop Julius for the pinfall.
They will now face AAA Tag Team Champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno in the semifinals. After their victory over Birthright’s Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King earlier in the night. On the other side of the bracket, NXT Tag Team Champions Chad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will take on Noam Darr and Romeo Moreno.
