October 13: CONMEBOL has added Globo and Paramount to its Brazilian schedule for the Copa Libertadores.
La Libertadores returns to Globo SporTV’s pay TV service with 41 matches per season including the final, and Paramount+ will broadcast the same number live for the first time.
Both are in Package C, which includes preliminary rounds, 24 group matches, two round of 16 matches, a quarter-final, a shared semi-final and a shared final. Globo also maintains competition on GE TV, its YouTube channel. The top package for the 2027-30 cycle still belongs to ESPN, which picks first in each round.
IMG negotiated it through their joint venture FC Diez Media, now extended with CONMEBOL until 2030.
“The renewal and return of historic partners is a testament to the value of CONMEBOL Libertadores to the Brazilian market,” said Commercial Director Juan Emilio Roa.
The package also includes the Women’s Libertadores, the Under-20s, men’s and women’s futsal, beach soccer and eLibertadores.
