The New York Giants and veteran quarterback Jameis Winston have agreed to a two-year, $13 million extension, a league source confirmed. The athletics.
The move solidifies the Giants’ quarterback unit, which is joined by backup Winston and rookie Jackson Dart for the next few seasons. Winston was the Giants’ voting leader during his first year in New York and was one of eight player-voted members of the team’s leadership team under new coach John Harbaugh.
