Habirora highlighted focus, discipline and gratitude as key lessons from his time with St Pierre.
“Stay focused on the goal,” Habirora said, stressing the importance of maintaining discipline and avoiding distractions.
“Don’t forget, be grateful for what you live,” he added, reflecting on the importance of appreciating an opportunity. “That there is still a child inside of you that dreamed of this. You are living the dream that you have dreamed of since you were a child.”
Habirora also explained why he likes to hold training camps in Montreal, citing its French-speaking community and cultural differences from Europe.
The Belgian goes head-to-head Omar El Dafrawy in the co-main event at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
