September 16: Fox’s Latin American arm has agreed a deal with Concacaf for rights to show the Nations League and 2030 World Cup qualifiers in Central America.
Mediated by Mediapro and IMG, it covers the next two editions of the Nations League, 2026-27 and 2028-29, including the finals, plus the World Cup qualifiers from September 2027 to November 2029.
Fox will carry matches featuring Concacaf members, including away games from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, via television and streaming with local commentary and pre- and post-match coverage. The Nations League kicks off on September 24, with the final at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2027.
Concacaf Secretary General Philippe Moggio said: “The Concacaf Nations League and the 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers represent some of the most important moments for our member associations and their fans,” adding that they enable “millions of people across Central America to enjoy high-quality coverage.”
Fox regional vice president Carlos Martínez called it content “of great relevance to the region.”
It follows Fox’s renewal in June for the Gold Cup, which also added the Nations League to its North American portfolio through 2029. Fox now carries these Concacaf competitions on both sides of the border, English in the US, local in Central America.
