Mandy Rose has developed a close bond with TNA’s rising stars, Elaina Black, to the point where she now likens Black to being her sibling.
According to Rose, their friendship naturally developed this way they worked alongside each other in their former home of WWE. Black’s departure in 2025 after the promotion brought them even closer to the Chicago native himself. turn to Rose for guidance after developing a gut feeling.
“He was right from the start when he felt like he was being fired,” Rose recalled. “TMZ’s Inside The Ring.” “He called me in advance, a week ago, and he was right. I literally arranged the phone call for him. I called my team. I said: “Listen, who’s this, blah blah blah,” and they immediately hit it off. The rest is history. He did an incredible job. I think it’s great because we’ve always had so much fun with him. “Little Girl,” so it’s kind of full circle. She’s really like my little sister.”
After leaving WWE, Black returned to the independent wrestling circuit, and in January 2026: announced that he is also signing with TNA. Outside of wrestling, Black launched an adult content account as an additional revenue stream, a a move Rose made herself before his WWE departure in 2022. Rose thinks this is smart, especially for those who already have a built-in following.
“I feel like you have to work with what you’ve got. He’s a perfect example of someone who did that,” Rose said, referring to Black. “I immediately took him on with my management team. He wasted no time.”
