Gurv Sihra of The Bollywood Boyz shared a harrowing experience from his last match in Pure Power Wrestling.
On Monday, the former WWE superstar posted a photo of himself in the back of an ambulance along with an explanation of what happened. He began by saying he was lucky to be alive. During his game on Saturday, he made a move he has made many times. The motion caused him to collapse a lung on the right side. He said that it was difficult to breathe, but he managed to finish the meeting. Backstage, Sihra could not stand up and was struggling to breathe. “For a moment I really felt that I was facing death,” he wrote.
Sihra shared the words of the emergency doctor. He reflected on the move he had made countless times and never expected it to lead to something so terrible. While he was struggling to breathe, he could only think about his son.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be here and I want to thank everyone at Pure Power Wrestling, the locker room and especially my brother for helping the medical team get to the venue,” Sihra said.
Sihra said she was going to follow up on the appointments. “I take everything one breath, one day and one step at a time.”
