How the draft assistant works

Fantasy Draft Assistant provides player draft reviews, overall rankings and season-long scoring predictions from Jake Seeley and Athletics A virtual team so users can better decide who to take on draft day. Enter up to five players to compare in your shortlist.

All player summaries, ratings and reviews are generated by Athletics Employees. They will be updated during the NFL preseason until the regular season begins on September 9. (Note: To ensure you are seeing the most recent updates, you may need to refresh your browser.)

Certain players may be rated higher or lower than the projected point total suggests. The ratings reflect how Jake Cieli prepares and inform play situation, risk, point ceiling and other variables.

Significant injuries are reported to injured players but cannot be updated immediately.

If you’re using it during a live draft, the draft assistant doesn’t know which players are on your roster and may suggest taking a player at the position you fill.
