“All Ego” with a name like Ethan Page, former NXT champion seems to acknowledge how big his ego is in the wrestling world. But ironically, Paige believes that, compared to the rest of the WWE roster, her ego is smaller than anyone else’s.
“I have the smallest ego in all of WWE,” he boldly declared in an interview with “”.TMZ’s Inside The Ring“I’m the only one who wears it on my sleeve.”
Paige then claimed that everyone else in WWE is a liar, so naturally no one would back up her small ego claim. Paige then suggested that everyone in WWE is only in it for the money and willing to manipulate the fans to get their money.
“If I want to be the most popular guy in WWE, give me three weeks and I’ll know, it’s manipulation.” he exclaimed.
Page also lamented that people are more lenient today, pointing out how wrestlers get upset when they’re criticized and criticizes them for only responding to detractors and never to their fans.
“Nobody wants to hear the truth, know the truth, understand the truth,” he insisted. “Deep down we all know the truth, but no one wants to live in it.”
Paige said that people seem to get together and ignore the obvious truths, and in wrestling specifically, no one wants the kind of authenticity she gives.
“I’m not here to sell T-shirts. I’m here for my childhood fantasy of becoming the Intercontinental Champion,” he asserted, adding that he’s also looking to win two main event titles, the Ring of the King and the Royal Rumble. “That’s why I’m here. Everyone else is here for (money) and (their faces) to put on billboards. It’s a very vain and selfish, ironically, and money-driven (industry)… Everyone here is a liar but me.”
