Because he was waiting get his release from AEW to move to WWE A few years ago, Ray Phoenix tried to make headlines posting a photo of himself looking like he was in a jail cell stuck in a straight jacket. It’s a photo that hasn’t seemed relevant since, except today when another luchador with AEW ties tried to copy it in his own way. Heading to X during the day, Dralistico posted a photo of what appears to be an AI behind bars, except for his hands, which appear to be going through the bars. Attached to the photo was a message about how long he could be behind bars.

The photo was taken during a time when many eyes were on Dralistico and his brothers, AEW star Rush and WWE star Dragon Lee. While Lee has continued to appear on WWE television over the past few months, with Triple H expressing his desire to keep him in WWE long-termHis contract with the promotion is reportedly set to expire this month, with no word on whether or not he and WWE have signed an extension. Like Lee, Dralistico’s contract is also set to expire soon, and neither he nor Rush have appeared on AEW television in months. Rush often comments on his absence on social media.
Dralistico made his first appearance in AEW/ROH back in December 2022, and would later announce in the fall of 2023 that he had signed with AEW/ROH, although it is unclear when this happened, as he had worked regularly for both promotions prior to that. Dralistico has been primarily associated with Rush since then, collaborating with him, The Beast Mortos, and Sammy Guevara in La Faccion Ingobernables. though he missed a few months earlier in the year with an injury.
