Questions have reportedly been raised about GUNTHER’s booking with WWE, and the report states that some backstage staff are uncertain about the company’s plans for him.
Some have argued that Gunther’s booking was underwhelming after he retired several WWE legends, and a new report “Wrestlevotes on Fightful Select“It found that some members of the company’s creative team were unhappy with it. The magazine claims that people they spoke to backstage at WWE are disappointed with the way Gunther has been booked on WWE SmackDown lately.
The report adds that its sources aren’t sure how Gunther can be used to build on the momentum he’s gained since the retirements of the likes of John Cena and AJ Styles. Questions have also been raised about whether WWE had a clear plan for him after his ending match with Cena. A source the paper spoke to wasn’t sure what her character’s direction would be on the blue brand.
