AEW WrestleDream will introduce a new game concept, Clockwork Massacre. The concept is the brainchild of Will Ospreay and was implemented in Pro Wrestling EVE. The match is held in two stages and eight participants take part. The two wrestlers will start the match and the third contestant will appear three minutes later. This will continue until all eight wrestlers have entered. However, if someone is pinned or submitted in the first round, they are eliminated. The second round begins after the last wrestler enters. All wrestlers still in the match will have 15 minutes to register a fall. The wrestler with the most falls wins and is the Men’s World Champion.
time AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. Paris:Will Osprey retained the title against Kazuchika Okada and will enter the match. Samoa Joe defeated Jack Perry to qualify for Clockwork Carnage. Collision pits Speedball Mike Bailey against Lee Moriarty to determine the next qualifier.
in Wrestling Observer Newsletter:Dave Meltzer speculated about the rest of Clockwork Carnage. “Considering who’s already booked, if we’re going to look at the other five main event spots, the ones that could logically fit would be Adam Copeland, Darby Allin, Claudio Castagnoli, Nick Wayne, Gabe Kidd, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, Orange Cassidy, Ricochet, Ricochet. He mentioned that RUSH recently said on social media that he doesn’t expect to wrestle any time soon.
WrestleDream takes place on October 17th from the Addition Arena in Orlando, Florida.
