Misfits Boxing co-founder Kalle Sauerland says the promotion has made a written offer
Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White and Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn face off in a boxing match.
Speaking to IFL TV, Sauerland said the Misfits were close to agreeing terms with Hearn, while White had received an offer but was yet to commit. Sauerland said he replaced his original $20 million winner-take-all offer with a $10 million offer.
“A lot of people asked me if it was a bull, and I said, ‘No, I’ll pay $20 million for it,’ so we wrote it to Dana and Eddie, called Eddie, and actually we’re not far off with Eddie. I think he’d confirm that if you asked him the terms,” Sauerland said. “I’m not going to tilt the boat because I’m not totally related to Eddie, but Eddie and I are close, and Dana has written it down. And I also turned it into a $10 million bid instead of a $20 million winner.”
Sauerland joked about holding a match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the night after Tyson Fury’s fight with Anthony Joshua, but said he had yet to make arrangements with Hearn.
White and Hearn have been publicly traded throughout 2026, in part due to their roles in Fury Vs. Promoted and produced by Joshua. Hearn recently said he would welcome a public debate with White, who has expressed frustration with repeated questions about their rivalry.
