Legendary pro wrestling commentator and current voice of AEW, Jim Ross, He underwent another brain surgery on Wednesdaywhich he revealed on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday night. “Just heard FAREWELL NEWS from @JRsBBQ’s daughter. the procedure went well,” Thompson wrote in X. “He is now recovering. I hope to go home around 3 o’clock.”
In his original post, Ross said the brain surgery was intended to fix a problem with his shunt. The WWE Hall of Fame has submitted to him first brain surgery to drain excess fluidthrough a shunt, back in August.

After the August surgery, Ross said the goal was to work for AEW All In Londonwhich did not materialize. He was also absent from AEW All Out. from Chicago, and as of now, neither Ross nor AEW officials have commented on his status at WrestleDream, which is scheduled for October 17 in Orlando.
